Tax Manager (Remote, Full-Time)
Vincere Tax isn’t your average accounting firm. We’re a fast-growing, tech-forward tax and accounting company serving both full-service clients and white-label partners. We’re looking for a highly organized, leadership-oriented tax professional to take the lead on tax season operations, tax reviews, partner coordination, and process improvement.
What You’ll Do
This role is a mix of operations leadership, client-facing coordination, and hands-on tax expertise. You’ll be responsible for leading tax season operations, acting as the face of Vincere Tax for our white-label partners, and ensuring timely and accurate tax return delivery from our team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage tax season operations, ensuring all returns are completed accurately and on time
Act as the primary point of contact ("face") for our white-label partners
Review tax returns prepared by team members during tax season
Monitor team output and provide quality control
Identify and address issues that arise during peak season, escalating when necessary
Keep management informed of any process or workflow breakdowns
Oversee and implement tax planning strategies in the off-season for both full-service clients and white-label partners
Collaborate with internal and external teams to improve operational efficiency and communication
Support ongoing improvements to tax processes, technology, and team workflow

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license
Minimum of 5-6 years of tax and accounting experience
Experience reviewing individual and business tax returns
Proven ability to manage deadlines and delegate work effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and understanding of financial statements
Comfortable using tools like Slack, GSuite, Lacerte, and workflow/project management software
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or operations role during tax season
Experience working with white-label service models or external partner management
Background in tax planning and advisory for small businesses or solopreneurs

Position Details
Job Type: Full-time, Remote
Pay: From $100,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (with flexibility and seasonal expectations)
